Reiki is the answer you've been looking for.
Maybe you're carrying a lot right now. Maybe your brain feels like a browser with far too many tabs open. Maybe you've gotten so used to being "fine" that you aren't even sure what relaxed feels like anymore.
You keep showing up. You keep taking care of what needs to be taken care of. But underneath it all, you're tired.
Not just physically tired. Soul tired. Nervous-system tired. The kind of tired that sleep doesn't always fix.
If that's where you are, Reiki is worth exploring.
I often describe Reiki as an opportunity to pause. A chance to step out of the constant doing, fixing, helping, and holding everything together and simply receive support for a little while.
Not because Reiki magically solves every problem. But because your body deserves moments of safety, rest, and connection too.

Why Reiki?
The truth is, I didn't find Reiki because I was looking for a spiritual practice. I found Reiki because I was exhausted.
At the time, I was working in helping professions, supporting other people through difficult experiences, and doing my best to keep all the plates spinning. From the outside, things looked fine.
Inside, I felt disconnected from myself.
My mind was constantly racing. My body felt tense all the time. I was operating on caffeine, determination, and the belief that if I could just get through one more week, things would somehow feel easier.
Then I experienced Reiki for the first time.
What stayed with me wasn't anything dramatic. It was the feeling of calm that followed. For the first time in a very long time, I felt grounded in my own body again. It felt like a deep exhale.
That experience eventually led me to become a Reiki practitioner because I wanted to create that same space for other people.
Wtf is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle wellness practice that supports relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.
Many people find it helpful during seasons of burnout, overwhelm, grief, major life transitions, or simply when life feels especially heavy.
You don't need any experience with energy work.
You don't need crystals, a meditation practice, or an extensive wellness routine.
You don't need to know what you're doing.
You simply get to show up. That's it.
Whether you're curious, skeptical, emotional, exhausted, or somewhere in between, you're welcome here.

VIRTUAL
One of the questions I hear most often is, "Can Reiki really be done virtually?" Absolutely.
In fact, many people find it easier to relax in their own environment. You're already comfortable. You're already in a space that feels familiar and safe.
We'll begin with a conversation about what you've been carrying lately and what kind of support you're looking for. Then you'll settle into a comfortable spot while I guide you through grounding and relaxation practices before the Reiki session begins.
Some people close their eyes and meditate. Some listen to calming music. Some fall asleep. (Honestly, if you fall asleep, I consider that a win.)
Afterward, we'll spend a little time reflecting on your experience and anything that surfaced during the session.

IN PERSON
Sometimes it feels good to step away from everyday responsibilities and give yourself dedicated space to simply be.
In-person Reiki sessions offer a quiet, calming environment where the focus is entirely on you.
We'll start by talking about how you're feeling physically, emotionally, and mentally. From there, you'll settle comfortably onto the Reiki table, fully clothed, while I guide you through a few grounding practices.
During the session, Reiki is offered through light touch or with hands hovering above the body, depending on your comfort level.
There's nothing you need to do.
Nothing you need to figure out.
No right way to experience it.
Your only job is to rest.
What to expect
Every experience is different because every person is different. Some people notice warmth or tingling sensations. Some feel emotional release. Some gain clarity around something they've been carrying. Others simply experience a level of relaxation they haven't felt in a long time. And some people take a really great nap. All of those experiences are completely normal.
Why I believe I should be
YOUR Reiki Practitioner
There are a lot of Reiki practitioners out there. What I bring to this work is a combination of professional experience and lived experience.
For more than twelve years, I've worked in helping professions supporting people through grief, trauma, caregiving, burnout, crisis, and major life transitions. I also hold a Master's in Social Work, which deeply influences how I hold space for people.
At the same time, I'm not interested in pretending life is perfectly balanced all the time.
I'm human. I've experienced burnout. I've experienced overwhelm. I've had seasons where I felt disconnected from myself and needed support too.
Because of that, people don't have to perform wellness around me.
You don't need the right words. You don't need to be calm. You don't need to explain why you're struggling. You just get to show up as yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Reiki
Is Reiki therapy?
No. Reiki is a holistic wellness practice and is not therapy, counseling, medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
What if I'm skeptical?
You're in good company.
Many people come in unsure of what to expect. You don't need to believe anything specific for a session to be beneficial. I simply encourage people to stay curious and notice their experience.
Is Reiki a replacement for medical or mental health care?
No. Reiki is intended to complement—not replace—appropriate medical, mental health, or emergency care.
